Miniver Cheevy
Greetings, all! Winter begins, and New Zealand's sunsets glow in unusual hues of blue, purple, and violet. The National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research says it's because of increased aerosols ejected into the stratosphere from Tonga's volcanic eruption last January. We stare in awe. Then night falls, and we retreat to the garage from the cool, damp air to play songs.
Our newest one is called "Miniver Cheevy", and you can listen to it on our Music page. It's a danceable song whose lyrics we adapted from Edwin Arlington Robinson's poem of the same name about a man who spends his days sighing that he was born a few hundred years too late. Enjoy!
