About the recordings in this batch:

  • They are licensed as Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0).
  • They do not constitute an album. It's just what we've recorded nicely so far.
  • The musical arrangements are subject to change. To finalize them, we need to play the songs live more.
  • We made them at home with one microphone plugged into a laptop running Audacity, an open-source digital audio workstation that crashes a lot. (Still haven't switched to Reaper yet.) Consequently, we recorded each part (guitar, voice, drums, etc.) separately, which makes the music sound a little out-of-sync and lackluster. Good enough for demos, though.

We're saving up to buy a multi-track recorder.
  • Maybe we'll pitch these to a record label one day and garner instant fortune and fame.

Videos Batch 1

Published on 2019-04-15.
Performed by Paper Dragon.
Filmed by Jesse James.

We made these videos as part of our application to perform for Sofar Sounds Auckland. They turned out surprisingly well, considering they were recorded with just a phone camera on a gimble and a USB mic plugged into a laptop running Audacity.
